Jack Mayer did a multiple presentations on the subject of solar part and truck and RV wiring.
One of the main point of Jack's presentations was to design a whole system, solar/wind generation. inverter/charger, and batteries first.

The implementation of the system can then be done in stages.

A presentation by Rob Finch on wind turbine use on an RV was so exciting, that we did not take pictures during the presentation.

Wind power, in addition to solar power. makes a lot of sense for RVers who like to boondock.  There is wind when there is no sun.
Rob's presentation is posted on Jack's Mayer's site at Wind Turbines - HDT Rally 2009.
