Propane Tank Shelf Usually the propane tank in a motorhome has nothing under it to allow any escaping gases to get away.

We took a section of ClosetMaid wire shelving to provide a space for some sundry items.

There were frame pieces on two sides of the shelve.  We trimmed the wire shelving to fit.  We use a large sized wire tie to hold the shelf to the propane tank and then used regular wire ties to secure the shelf to frame pieces.

We used a small piece of shelving to make a backstop, also attached with wire ties.
