We changed the coax patch panel for the satellites dishes and interior connections. We have a Dish Pro 1000 TV satellite
dish mounted on the back of the Coach House. We have cabling for the
HughesNet Internet satellite dish if we wanted to use it.
We have to coax feeds that go to the Power Pole so we can direct signals to the trailer or the cable TV to the Coach House.
Finally we have two coax cables going over to the entertainment center area of the Coach House.

Originally we were going to have the coax cables terminate in modular wall plates with the patch cables being external.
We were looking at another coach house in progress and saw how that owner was going to use a plumbing access plate. That struck an
idea. |
 |
This is the plumbing access plate we bought.
It is sitting on a sheet of PVC material that we are going to use to make the patch panel box. |

These are the modular cover plates that we will use to hold the coax connectors. |
 |
The PVC sheet was cut to width. We then formed the box by using the heat gun.
We used c-clamps and aluminum stock to make a bending edge for the PVC sheet. |

The patch panel box is formed and the modular cover plates are installed. We shortened one
cover plate to put two on the side. |

The patch panel is installed and the coax cables are connected.
We have one CAT-5 cable that comes from the Power Pole. |
