Patio awnings provide a shaded porch for you RV. The extended sizes of these patio awnings can make them difficult to extend or retract. One of our mandatory options was an electrified awning, because we had so much trouble with the awning on our motorhome. With the push of a button on the remote control, we can extend or retract the awning. This is especially handy when we hear the wind picking up. We can retract the awning without even opening the door. Our electric awning, a Weather Pro, also has a control that senses wind speed, and when it exceeds 18 mph, the awning is retracted automatically, a real safety factor. |
