Port St. Lucie, FL

1/21 - 2/28/2007

Our location - Port St. Lucie, FL

Port St. Lucie RV Resort

We are in Port St. Lucie (PSL) to spend the rest of January and February with Dale's parents, sister and brother-in-law.  Campgrounds and RV parks are scarce in this part of Florida.  And as you might expect, site fees at this time of the year are, outrageous to say the least.  We chose Port St Lucie RV Resort because it is the closest one to where Dale's parents are staying.

Port St Lucie PSL RV Resort office.  Now, about the "resort" designation...if your idea of a resort is a parking pad and a pool, you would not be disappointed.

Port St Lucie The site is not long enough to park Red Rover in front of Tige on the concrete. As it is, the back of the trailer is pushing back the bushes at the back of the site. This is the tightest space we have ever been in.  If we towed a care behind our trailer, we do not know where we would park it!
Port St Lucie The park is full with snowbirds.

Port St Lucie Even though it looks a bit empty, rest assured that these spaces do not stay vacant for very long.

Port St Lucie Our kids, Stacy and Ken, stopped by for a night on their way to Boca.  We are all going on a cruise beginning on Sunday, January 28.  They made arrangements to board their dogs in Boca Raton. So they stayed in Port St. Lucie for just one night.
Port St Lucie Stacy is a really good "first mate", guiding Ken as he backs into the site. Port St Lucie
