Our location - Kodaka,
SD
Wall Drug & Badlands National Park |
| |
 |
We stopped at Kodaka, SD as a stop between Emery and Custer, SD.
Since it was only a short distance to Wall Drug, we decided to be tourists for a day. |
 |
Wall Drug is a collection of old photos, "tourist trap" attractions, and about anything you can think of buying. |
 |
 |
There is still a drug store and you can still get free ice water. |

The trouble with taking photos of grand vistas like we found in the Badlands NP, it that the photos do not do justice to the views,
like the depth of the valley. |

Someone has a sense of humor with the dinosaur statue. South Dakota has been the source of many dinosaur fossil remains. |
