Traveling from Custer, SD to Woodland Park, CO, we had no option but to drive through Denver. |
 |
We passed through Denver on the Wednesday before Barack Obama made his convention speech on Thursday. |

This the INVESCO Stadium that Obama made his speech in. |
 |
This is why the Secret Service closed Interstate 25 because it runs so close to INVESCO Stadium. |

Like many campgrounds, during the weekends, they are invaded by real campers, people in tents and popup trailers. You can always
tell when the campers are in the park, you can smell their presence from the campfires. From morning to night, the campfires burn away. |
 |
We are is a different site at Diamond Campground this time. The last we were here, we had a pretty easy pull-thru site.
This time our friend Jack Mayer, camp host, gave us a challenge of not only a back-in site, but one with a tight turn. |

The test for Mark was too much. Luckily another camp host, John, as ex- triple trailer trucker, helped out and put
