Petrified Forest / Painted Desert National Park

The painted Desert and the Petrified Forest are in the same National Park.  We went to the Painted Desert side of the park on Friday.  We took the tour of the Painted Desert Inn, the Inn that was the beginning of the Painted Desert as a tourist attraction that was eventually purchased by the Park Service.  We went to the Petrified Forest side of the park on Sunday.
