At the Soddy-Daisy Veterans Park, there is a UH-1 Huey Helicopter display.  This particular Huey, 64-13786 was in Mark's unit, the 48th Assault Helicopter Company in Viet Nam.  Unlike many of the Hueys in Viet Nam, this one returned home and served to train new pilots.  When this helicopter was retired from the Army, a veterans unit acquired the helicopter and restored it to its Viet Nam markings and mounted it on a pedestal in the Soddy-Daisy Veterans Park.

It was a walk down memory lane for Mark.  For more on Mark's time in the Army and specifically Viet Nam, go to 390th TC.
