We went Ruby
Falls, a classic tourist stop in Chattanooga.
The tour is
of a cave inside Lookout Mountain that culminates at a waterfall inside
the mountain... |

Like all cave tours, you really have to take the tour to really
appreciate the sights in the cave. Without special equipment,
the real effects of the rock formations do not show well/ But
we took some photos anyways.

The falls at the end of the cave tour are really amazing. Mark
had taken the tour back in 1980. New to the tour is a path
around the falls, so you can see the backside of water.

On the tour, Dale adopted these four boys who were traveling with their
Grandmother and Great Grand-Mother.
These boys where well behaved and really paid attention to the
features of the cave and Dale liked being a teacher. |

Like a good tourist spot, Ruby Falls has added several
things, like a playground, to entertain
families that come.
As a good citizen of the Earth, Ruby Falls added solar panels on the roofs of their facilities
to reduce the amount of grid electricity they need to run the attraction.
