We had some time to be tourists so we stopped in the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, TX.  We though just a couple of hours.  We should have planned two days.

Why would a major museum on the Pacific War be in Fredericksburg, TX?  Because Admiral Nimitz, a major player in the War in the Pacific was born in Fredericksburg.

We respected the requests for no flash photography inside so what we have here is just a sampling of why is outside the four buildings that makeup the Museum.

There were a few WWII aircraft and the only restored PT boat from the Pacific Campaign.

So many placards for individuals, units, and ships.
